The land owned by Peter Rutanis the most easterly section of Long Hill Township. In the 1800's this land was owned Nicholas Van Winkle, Joseph H. Patten and others, and later by their heirs. At the end of 1800's and during the early part of this century this land was owned by Mr. Cammeyer. He was a salesman and started the famous Cammeyer shoes for men.
